One on one mentorship offers supportive services to teens to address life skills, provide tools to achieve the capacity to make wise and healthy choices, and provide guidance in the areas of schooling and careers.
Our women's workshops are opportunities to come together to support one another. We meet with women in homeless shelters and domestic violence centers for crafting and to provide encouragement
Vocational training prepares people to work as a technician or to take up employment in a skilled craft or trade as a tradesperson or artisan. Our instructional programs focus on careers that are most needed.
POP UP SHOPS
Our pop up shops features items from Dave's Garage, Lady B's Closet, and Ke-Styles Accessories. New & gently used clothing, shoes, books, and school supplies are available. Vendor opportunities are available.
We motivate youth to use proper social and coping skills, encourage active learning, develop key critical-thinking, communication, decision-making skills, and provide fun activities for families and youth.
All staff is trained in crisis intervention, to ensure the safety of each resident and staff member. Each situation is unique and will require a therapeutic approach to immediately stabilize those in crisis.
We help individuals, group and families identify goals and potential solutions to problems; improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; promote behavioral change and mental health.
We encourage and support mothers in learning the basic skills to obtain employment, manage their finances and leverage community counseling resources to care for their families and live an independent life.
